Computer replace human’s job, does it sounds good?

Technology has dominated in every aspect in this life, hasn’t it? Since globalization has conquered our world, computerizing process is colored everything from learning process, business activity, trading between countries, and so on. Nowadays, all ages must be able to operate computer. Students should be able to surfing in the internet to get addition material of their subject at school. Parents also have to do so. They have to be expert in the things that they don’t have when they were a child. Definitely, everybody should be able to operate it.

Life becomes more complicated without computer. Imagine how a shop keeper count the visitor’s good which they want to buy. Usually the number is logically difficult to be counted without any machine or calculator. So they need a machine to count it and it’s a computer. Then, look at the librarian. They will be so confused to write all data about the book they have only in a paper. Beside it need longer time and extra energy, it’s also such a complicated when somebody wants to borrow some books and the librarian forgets where he put the data. That’s why they need a machine to collect all data including the books, brochure, and the library members. Other examples which show the needs of computer is a secretary. They are very need computer as their main job such as typing, collect the data of something, count the data from their worker and so on. The cases above show the dependency of computer in some jobs. Let’s see in education aspect. Education has been influenced by the technology especially computer. Some teachers prefer to give the homework by internet and show the mark in internet also. Student also need computer as stated above. If they have some troubles when they do their homework such as difficult question, unknown formula or others, they just need to surfing and browse what they need by internet and they use one thing. Computer. Computer can do something better than human activity. It’s easy to use and very useful. That’s the main reason why people choose computer rather than manually.

We can’t say that we have been depending on computer. We just need it to help us solve our daily problem not to replace our job. Peoples refer to washing machine rather than wash it by their hand manually because they think it’s simple and efficient of time. But, when they are used to use washing machine, they will forget how to wash it manually. Other example is when people do their math exercise. When they found a case which is needs to be counted, they refer use calculator to count it by themselves. From two examples above, we can see that computer has made our generation lazier because they count on it. Too much use those machine will lead to lose of our basic skill such as counting, washing our clothes, and so on. Not only lose of skill but also lead us to illness. Too much use those will caused a seriously illness. Such as if we use computer in a long period without any break, we will get a backache because it contracts strictly along we operate computer. Our eyes also will be so tired and we feel such kind of hot in there because the radiation of the screen has forced our eyes to receive too much light and it will be so dangerous.

Using computer is very easy and helpful in our activity. But, too much using it will lead us to a suffer. So, what do you think? The choice is in your hand.

Chosen by unfair election, what do you think?

Election. When you hear that word, there’ll be a voters, election paper, election box, ink and so on spin around your head. Yeah, your guess is as great s mind. If you ask me about the election, I have nothing to say. But, now I have to know a little about it. Election is an activity that held to choose an individually from an organization for having a right to lead its organization. Its process should be as fair as possible because it decides the future of the organization. That’s why we have the principle Directly, General, Freedom, Secret, Honest, and Fair.

As we see in the committee election 2 weeks ago, we can clearly say that it’s a fair election where the winner is a couple of Nando and Mini. They defeated other candidates “clear and clean”. It means that no unfair activity seen along the campaign. Also, the committee has prepared everything well and doesn’t prefer to one of the candidates. It’s fair enough, isn’t it? They do the campaign by promotion and banner or poster that helps the voters to consider what is their choice about the election. Campaign such as held a mini cinema to introduce their mission, vision and motto is lead to inform the voters and make them understand more about the candidates. From that, we can conclude that campaign is one of their strategies to attract the voters to choose them. Every candidate has a right to promote themselves.

But, take a look at the dark side. Sometimes outside the dormitory nation, there are some candidates who persuade the citizens to choose them by give some money. Back to inside the dormitory, the voters can be said if they are unfair. They don’t choose anyone or might be choose all of whom. If we look at the candidate, it’s also strange and a little awkward. They are chosen from their houses not because of their ability of their willingness, but it’s from their friends suggestion and support so that it’s impure by their wants. About campaign, every candidate has it’s time to promote themselves but for them who don’t have enough time for campaign, it’s involved in unfair category where every candidates doesn’t have the same right about it.

But, we have no effort to shout loudly about the unfair process. Everything has passed and we have to receive whatever the result. So, if you think it’s unfair enough, it’s all up to you.

Student under estimates their teacher, should it be?

Teacher is a person that teaches us in the school and as the second parents who guide us to give the best way to reach our success. To make it happen, teacher will teach us with their unique way in case of make us understand easily about the material given. Nowadays, learning activity is not depend on the teacher who stand at the front of the class and inform the material by write that at the whiteboard and ask the students to take a note of it in their notebook. Now, the teacher doesn’t need to write as much word as the book written, they can use the latest technology in learning activity such as projector and LCD to show their material that will be given. student also doesn’t need to write as much word as written there, they can copy the file by the laptop or only take the main point. It’s so incredibly easy.

But, not all the teachers teach the student using that way. Many still use the traditional way such as written above. That can make the student bored and feel so sleepy because of too much writing and might cause a stiff in their hand. Sometimes, they call their teacher “villager” because the teacher doesn’t take any advantages from the technology or what we called it grade the teacher. Usually, grading teacher is based on the teacher’s performance at learning activity. If we take a look at the purposes, it sounds great. Because it can increase the teacher’s motivation when teach the student. As the teachers are motivated, it will improve the learning quality process itself. Grading teacher is also a kind of student aspiration for better teacher. In fact, we can state that a better education is based on the teacher’s skill of teaching. As the teacher’s quality is above the average, the education quality also improved definitely. Also, we can see that if the teacher’s skill is excellent, the understanding of the student will be clearly seems. So, the mark of the student will increase surely and the school’s popularity will do so. Logically, teacher should be patient if they get a complaint from their student about their performance of teaching.

Unfortunately, students grade their teacher impolitely so that the teachers get upset or could be angry by hear it. Remember, teacher is a hero for our nation because without them, our nation won’t be as developed as now. Teacher is a person who greatly responsible for our future. What we want to be is according to them because they teach us to be like who we are now. Surely, we must respect them. It’s clearly impolite when we mock our teacher. Do you know how hard they represent the material and prepare it for us? It’s a kind of impossible when we, the student, asked to replace them to teaching. We have nothing to say while they have been preparing something to be gave to us. Teacher is also a human who need to be respected and treated politely. Teacher’s time is not only for teach us at school, but they have to manage their family at their home. They have to prepare the material for the next day and also take care of their child about anything from meals, dishes, and housekeeping. They often sleepless because they have to do so many work simultaneously.

See, being a teacher is not an usual job. It’s a pure work which doesn’t need any replies from us. So, do you think that grade your teacher is right? The answer is in your deepest heart.

Do we need a homework ?

Nowadays, school is lead to an international standard to lift up its popularity in the city. Many ways has done by the government to subsidize its budget. School which is used to take care its student by traditional ways, now, directly inversely changes to modern way. Technology and languages have been dominating its school. Everything which is related with the curriculum, now uses English as the media of teaching. The structure of organization is in English. Everywhere we walk, it smells English and so English. School which doesn’t use English as their first language at school will lose its name in the list of top school at that district. Not only English, but also technology itself. Absences of the student are arranged by the computer. Teacher gives the task by the internet. Just click and download, student can fulfill their mark everywhere.

Talk about homework, it’s related with the student’s daily job. Student usually is gave the homework everyday by their teacher. Homework’s purposes are to increase the understanding of the student about its subject. Also, it prevents student from being lazy because they have something to do what we called it as homework. Teacher gives the student homework is to improve student skill and for a trial at home. Sometimes, homework is as an additional exercise which is more complicated and needs more time to do it. Also that homework is about the material which will be announced the next day. So, it’s kind a self-learning for the next material given the next day. By the way, doing homework at home also such as a trial for time management. See, by doing homework, student will be used to manage their time wisely between doing homework, playing, taking a rest and so on. So, it also increases the student responsibilities that needed in this new era. Homework usually does by the student for 1-2 hours in their spare time. However, it can be an alarm for them because when they want to have fun instead of study, homework will spinning around their mind to remains them about it.

Normally, student will be happy because they have something that they have to do instead of sleeping in their spare time. But, take a look in some cases. Many students are getting stressed because of this crazy thing. No matter if the homework is only for one or two subject. Sometimes, the homework is about all subjects at that day! Can you imagine how crazy the teachers are. Students think that a homework is enough for them as far as they have understood the material. But, sometimes teacher give them so many homework to be done for the next day. Let’s imagine. If the student’s time at school are about 8 hours a day. And they have to go to a courses as soon as they are home. It takes 2 until 3 hours. This it remains 4 hours towards their sleeping time. Have you ever think that students time is not only for doing their homework, but also for improve their talent and help their parents. So, when do they can take a rest for a while when they have so many things to do? Students also a human which needs a break from their busy day. If we take look at their school’s time, 8 hours, it’s enough for them to study about science, math and languages. So, why the teachers keep giving them homework regularly? In the real life, the homework is usually difficult and more effort to do that. More difficult means more time needed for them to do that. If they are wasting their time by doing their homework, it will reduce their effectiveness for their daily. No problem if the homework is easy and for train them remembering the material given at that day.

So, doing homework is very useful for students because they can improve their understanding. But, if it’s reduce their time for enrich their talent, do we need to keep doing homework?

The important things in life

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”

“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car.

The sand is everything else. The small stuff.”

“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal.

Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

About The 2nd Law Album

Name

The name "The 2nd Law" references the second law of thermodynamics, which is quoted in the album trailer as follow

"All natural and technological processes proceed in such a way that the availability of the remaining energy decreases. In all energy exchanges, if no energy enters or leaves an isolated system, the entropy of that system incre,cre,cre,cre,c,c,creases. Energy continuously flows from being concentrated, to becoming dispersed, spread out, wasted and useless. New energy cannot be created and high grade energy is being destroyed. An economy based on endless growth is...Unsustainable"

New songs

Near the beginning of 2010 Muse indicated they had been working on potentially two new songs, one of which was ready for recording. One was mentioned by Dom in an interview with regard to Muse providing new music for the 2012 Olympic games. This turned out to be Survival. Dom also mentioned a "love song" the band had written originally intended for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack, stating that the band "were ready to record" in Australia during the Big Day Out tour. This turned out to be Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)

Later,when Matt was asked whether fatherhood was on his mind, he told MTV: "Yeah, I'm definitely going to bring out the Vibraphone, a lullaby, things like that. I'll definitely get a lullaby on there."This later turned out to be Follow Me.

During the NME Awards 2011, Matt and Dom humorously stated that there would be "a lot of chords" on the album and that Matt already had many ideas flowing through his head, including one song which Dom said sounded very cool already.

Instrumentation

With information gathered from twitpics, the album is known to feature a brass section and an orchestra. Additionally, Matt has been seen holding a "Kitara", a guitar-shaped synthesizer controller. In an interview with NME Chris said that Matt was talking about "messing with grooves and loops". In an interview with NME in 2011, Matt said he was wanting to introduce some 90's rave into the band. The album will also have a lot of choirs in some songs like Survival.

Influences

In a interview with Absolute Radio, Matt mentioned the new album may have influences from Justice and DIOYY, and that he was very into the 'hard electronica' sound at the moment.

In an NME article according to Dom the band "went to see Skrillex in Camden around October. We went 'Fuck, it's so heavy', loved it. It was like a full metal gig, they had the circles of death, people were moshing, I hadn't seen a reaction like that to electronic music before. We took inspiration and came up with Unsustainable." Matt added, "Some of that hard dubstep or brostep coming from America is capturing the imagination. The moshpit has moved from guitars and gone towards the laptop, so with that song we're trying to see if we can challenge the laptop. We created something that was dubsteppy but we wanted to see if we could do it with real instruments. We wanted to ask, 'Can rock bands compete with what these guys are doing?'" In the same NME Article, the song Panic Station was described as having "demented 80's elements such as backwards 'Let's Dance' drumbeats and riffs reminiscent of INXS' 'Suicide Blonde'".

Also, in a recent interview Matt revealed that he took influence from "The Dark Knight Rises" composer Hans Zimmer, claiming:"He's the greatest film composer of recent times. That song 'The 2nd Law', you can definitely hear some Hans Zimmer influence."

Release

On the 6^th June 2012 a movie-style trailer was released for the album featuring music from the album, and announcing the title. It was accompanied by a release date counting down to 17^th September 2012, a Monday, indicative of the UK release date.

On 27^th June 2012 Survival was debuted on Zane Lowe's show on BBC Radio 1. It was confirmed and simultaneously released as the Official Song for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

On 30^th July 2012, the artwork for the album was revealed over a selection of 11 images. The final album artwork depicts an image of the Human Brain and all the neurons that make it up. The Image came from the Human Conectome Project.

On 2^nd August 2012, it was announced via Muse's website that the release date of the album had been postponed to the worldwide release date of the 1^st October, and that the song Madness will be released on 20^th of August.

On August 9^th, 2012, Muse made the Deluxe Box of The 2nd Law availible to purchase with the free music video of The 2nd Law: Unsustainable.
